The Concours 2016 sponsored by Sela Brokers was a sparkling affair.  55 gleaming cars descended upon the Centre Court at Emperors Palace and were displayed in their various classes.

At the end of the event, it was Martin Maine's 911 993 that walked away with the SELA Brokers Overall Winner Trophy. But only just. Quintin Asken 996 GT3 was 2nd by the smallest of margins.

The D’Etat class displayed a very high standard with Originality counting for 370 of the 755 points.

In the D’Elagance class, this year judged as per D’Etat but without points for originality, had Tony Vaughan 356C showing what the Concours is all about. Well done Tony, a great effort.

The pre 996 993 class had four entrants and the winner by the smallest margins was Albert Du Bois Carrera 3.2, over Alex Roberts Carrera 3.2. Neville Forssman 993 Turbo scored very high and was a very good example of this particular model.

Race and Rally was holty contested with Hannes van Wyk Cayman S 987 winning, 2nd Kobus Brits 911R 1967, 3rd   Johan van der Walt Boxster s 987 2006.

The D’Excellence Class had the highest entry list with Robert Nezar 964 Turbo winning by a big margin. 2nd was Eddie Assad making an appearance with his 356C. 3rd Justin van Zyl
